By using this website, calling the phone number shown on it, or submitting a request through it, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.

2. About This Website

This website is operated by Kanata Towing ("Kanata Towing", "we", "us") to help people in Kanata, Ontario and the surrounding area find towing and roadside assistance. This website is a referral service only. Calls and form submissions are passed to Ottawa Regional Towing, an independent company that provides the actual towing, roadside assistance, winching, tire change, battery boost, lockout, fuel delivery and accident recovery services described on this site.

References on this website to "our team", "our drivers", "our fleet" or "our trucks" describe the services provided by Ottawa Regional Towing and its personnel. Kanata Towing does not employ the drivers or technicians who attend your vehicle.

3. Services Are Provided by Ottawa Regional Towing

All services are performed by Ottawa Regional Towing under its own terms, policies and pricing. Any agreement for services is made directly between you and Ottawa Regional Towing. Questions about quotes, invoices, payment, arrival times, the handling of your vehicle, storage or damage claims must be directed to Ottawa Regional Towing.

4. Pricing and Payment

Any prices, estimates or quotes are set and provided by Ottawa Regional Towing. Kanata Towing does not set prices, collect payment or issue invoices for towing or roadside services. Descriptions of "competitive" or "fair" pricing and "free quotes" on this website are general statements and not a quote.

5. Response Times and Availability

Statements such as "24/7", "as quickly as possible" or "fast" describe the general availability of the referred service. Actual arrival times depend on location, weather, traffic, demand and other factors outside our control. Kanata Towing does not guarantee that a service provider will be available at any particular time or arrive within any particular time.

6. Limitation of Liability

Because Kanata Towing is a referral service only, Ottawa Regional Towing performs all work and bears all responsibility for it. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Kanata Towing and its owners are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, delay, cost or claim arising from or related to the services provided by Ottawa Regional Towing, including damage to or loss of a vehicle or its contents, personal injury, towing, storage or other charges, or any act or omission of Ottawa Regional Towing or its drivers.

This website and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kanata Towing is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002 or other laws that cannot be excluded by agreement.

7. Emergencies

If anyone is injured, or you are in immediate danger, call 911 first. This website and phone line are not an emergency service.

8. Website Content

We try to keep the information on this website accurate, but it may contain errors or become out of date. We may change or remove content at any time without notice. All text, images and logos on this website belong to Kanata Towing or are used with permission and may not be copied without our written consent.

9. Third-Party Services

This website uses a Google Maps embed and Google Fonts, and may link to other websites. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of third-party websites or services.
